Case Work

The Kayak Cabinet is a handmade piece that is crafted out of Walnut, Maple, and English Elm.  

The cabinet carcass is constructed from a single Walnut slab that has been book-matched, and the corners have been mitered to give the grain pattern a continuous, uninterrupted look as it wraps around the entire piece. The miters have been accented with maple splines.

The spacious Walnut and Maple carcass hung drawers are joined by hand cut, half-blind dovetails and the frame and panel doors are accented with book-matched English Elm panels.  Both drawers and doors have matching "boat cleat" style handles for the nautical enthusiast to enjoy.
